Be the Star Player

In a basketball game, you can see the players inside the court doing their best to win the game for the team. On the court side, you have the hordes of spectators and a set of commentators.

If life is compared to a basketball game, do not settle being just a spectator or a commentator, rather be the star player.

What an exciting life it would be.

Be Still Amidst Lies

No matter how many lies are thrown at you, it will never stick on you so long as the truth is with you and your conscience is crystal-clear.

There will always be people who will hit you from all corners. Take heart, because in the end the humble and the truthful person, even by just being silent, will emerge as the victor.

The wind will always blow toward the right direction.

Respect?

For how can a person be respected if one does not know how to respect himself
and others.

Be reminded of the law of reciprocity.

You only reap what you sow.

God's Light

We all just borrow our light from God just as the moon borrows it from the sun.
The light of God is meant to be shared to all mankind to keep it even more brighter.

What it Takes To be a Successful Person

The moment a person decides to grow makes him already a big success.
It is all in the mind, actually. Think of good things every day and good
things will come.

Look at the mirror. When you smile at it, the person in front smiles back at you.

You reap what you sow. Plant seeds of love and you will reap more love.

Shower of Medals

I thank God today for the shower of medals to my family. Bea graduates as the valedictorian of her batch in the elementary, Krissa with honors at UEPLHS, Maevelle as the first honor in grade 2, Kobe as the fifth honor and Emboy with honors.

Passing on the Blessings

It is always better to PASS ON your BLESSINGS than Passing on the BLAME.

God's Servant

Real servants of God think of others more than of themselves. it is like dying on the Cross because of and for others. Servants are God's favorites. They always end their lives triumphant and victorious.

How do I Pray

I write my prayers in paper, then, keep it and patiently wait for God's response.

Yesterday, while doing some personal year-end inventory, I came across an old simple notebook where I have composed some prayers to God. I read it all and what a wonderful feeling to know that God really showered me favors more than what I asked from Him. 

Everything is recorded so everything is counted. I do not count because they are too many as each blessing He gave me has led to multiple blessings.

I always give Him small "thank yous" to acknowledge His kindness to me.

The good thing about writing my prayer is I have the chance to put all my mind and feelings into every word that I write - with precision, passion. and with all sincerity.

I know in my heart that is how I get positive response from God.
